Sometimes the perfect thing about living in Marin is the ease of SF access - going back to old favorite places and trying new ones. Breakfast by the beach? Yes, please. Biscuit so big I can barely bite? Sounds good. Devil's Teeth Baking Company sandwiches and world-class Pacific Ocean views: a killer combo.
We grabbed coffee at Andytown Coffee Roasters (the Original Bird for me which is part dessert/part wake you up: sparkling water, ice, espresso, syrup and homemade whipped cream) and Au lait for G and headed to the Legion of Honor. Nothing beats mid-week, pace. Easy parking. Plenty of space to cruise around the museum.
Time to pick up the cake: Black Forest from Schubert's Bakery. Yum. Yum.
